PERFUMEとは？
PERFUME（パフューム）は1994年にCOMPASSより上梓された盛本真理子の写真集であり、数ある彼女の写真集でも最高傑作に推すファンが多い。撮影は山岸伸。
タイトル通り彼女の香り立つような肉体美を伝えるのみならず、ポテンシャルを引き出そうとした鋭意的撮影スタンスが窺える。撮影地は曇天のプールサイドでありそこで肢体を組むフォトに食指を動かした読者はいないし、胸のやや右寄りのホクロがチャームポイントとわかるようにもなっている。撮影条件を鑑みると白き肌の魅力を逆説的に活かす高次の芸術性も特筆に価しよう。
